Hi Jose,

Just having a quick first read thro' the manual, and spotted a few points, I
hope you do not mind... (also can an A4 version be built at some point?)

Current version : It's free ON know bugs, should read free OF known bugs
Creating .Rockbox : l"ine, writing 'md .rockbox' " better to say "line,
using the DOS command 'md .rockbox'"
Uninstalling Rockbox: The implication seems to be that you MUST have a mod
or ajz file in the root folder. This is not true, it will load the ROM
firmware

File Browser: you can select which kind of files are shown on each moment
(see section 6.3.2) , This is not really good english, it may read better to
just say ' You can select which file types are displayed (See section...)

Main Menu :
The Recorder series have a battery backed-up RAM where Rockbox saves data
into and that is made instantly, however, the Player/Studio series has no
such RAM, so the only way for Rockbox is to store the config data on disk.
However, Rockbox doesn't spin-up the disk solely for that purpose but
instead will do it when it spins up the disk the next time, for another
purpose, like refilling mp3 buffer or navigating through file browser.

User configuration is stored on the unit, but there are different methods
used between the Player and Recorder models. The Recorder series have and
area of battery backed RAM that Rockbox can access instantly, the
Player/Studio series does not. The solution is to write the config data to
the disk drive, this however can lead to a problem. Rockbox does not spin
up the disk soley for the purpose of writting user data, but instead will do
it when it spins up the disk the next time, for example refilling the MP3
buffer, or navigating through the file browser - if no disc writes occur
before you switch off the unit, it is possible for user changes to be lost.

Regards

Mark
