They are filled in, since that stuff is stored in the MP3 frame headers.
MP3Ext's inability to see that is surprising. That has nothing to do
with the ID3 tags.

Like I said, the artist/album/title etc is ID3 stuff, the bitrate, MPEG
layer etc is MP3 frame stuff.

That bug report is somewhat confusing, since it reports a failure to
save ID3 headers, while the pasted report from MP3Ext is not ID3 data.
