On the FM recorder (with Archos firmware) the radio's 30sec retro-record feature allows loop recording from the line in jack as well. With Radio Mute On, record the radio while the actual source is plugged into Line In. It's a nice oversight/feature especially with a powered mic or when recording from a radio with better reception. Unfortunately, internal mic loop recording isn't possible with this method.
