I agree with Chris here. I've never had to use an instrument to
remove the battery covers. Push out, with the tip of your fingers,
then kinda' push up with you palm, after the edge clears. you can
then grip the cover between the palm and fingers, and it comes right
out. It's really easy, and takes under 3 seconds to remove each one.
