Even if RockBox is more sensitive to the problem, it still sounds like
something I would return to Archos.

Also, just to be clear, when I mentioned a different charger, I was
talking about removing the batteries and physically inserting them into
another charger, not just replacing the wall-wart with a new one. Just
thought I ought'a be clear on that...
