hi !
archos doesn`t boot random .ajz files.
it just boots a file named ajbrec.ajz

rename your file to that name and be happy ;)

BTW:
you won`t need to replace your "original" rockbox file.
you can "2nd stage" load other .ajz files from within rockbox (ROLO loader
inside).
just select the file and press play.
