You can buy some pretty tiny (yet useable) switches nowdays.
It would not be difficult to fit one of these to the unit - with some
careful thought you probably even fit it throught the battery cover (JBR),
then all you need is a bit of cardboard with tin foil on each side which
you slot between the batteries; and you have simple 50c solution which you
can do with a dremmel and 20 minutes :)
