I agree that 11 chars may be too short for some usefull translations.

A special player language doesn't help, if there's no short translation

- We don't need a new language file format.
- Non scrolling text should only be used if there is a good reason for
it. ("English text fits the screen" is NOT a good reason.)
Actually since we have multi line scrolling available, I don't see any
reason why a text in a line orientated screen should not potentially
scroll (if it doesn't fit the line).
