Yep, "Flash:??,??" is what I see now.

Newish Player Studio 10 (about 2 months old)
ROM 5.06 (according to RockBox HW Info)
ROM 5.08 (according to Firmware Bootup Screen)

Interesting that it's a newer player that has the less friendly flash
chip. Or maybe it's just one that your code is not recognizing. Would it
help for me to crack it open and take a look at numbers on the chip?
