Date: Fri, 23 May 2003 01:45:20 -0400 This was extremly helpful, thank you. One more question if I may. Upon scrolling down the usb devices, there is one that says usb mass storage device. When I click on it, the only mention of archos says Location 0 (ARCHOS USB2.0 (P4a)) When I click on driver tab and driver details, it says c:\windows\system32\drivers\USBstor.sys So does that mean I did it right? I was still a little concernd because it said that Location 0 (ARCHOS USB2.0 (P4a)) I see no mention of Archos anywhere else on that scroll down. Please let me know if you think this is right, as I am on the verge of returning the archos, and again thanks so much for your help >From: Neon John <johngd_at_bellsouth.net> >Reply-To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se >To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se >Subject: Removing drivers >Date: Thu, 22 May 2003 17:35:04 -0400 > >On Wed, 21 May 2003 23:44:16 -0400, "Frank Incensed" ><frankincensed_at_hotmail.com> wrote: > > >Thanks for the tip, I will try it, but still would like to deinstall the > >driver that is there currently first > > > >_________________________________________________________________ > >The new MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE* > >http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail > >Control panel->system->hardware->device manager > >Make sure the Archos is plugged in. > >Scroll down to the "USB devices".
