I know nothing of vbscript ...Could you get the script to start up a copy
of Windoze Recorder ...grab the handle for the window ...and press the REC
and STOP buttons at the right time?

If you have a Sound Blaster you can set the driver to record "What U Hear"
to assure a recording of whatever comes out of the speakers (at source.)

Maybe http://www.looprecorder.de/looprec.php will help? ...it claims to
have command line options :)
