Not sure about that, should say in the manual. I have an FM recorder,
and it says that the cable is USB 1.1/2 compatible in the manual. But
I'm not sure about the recorder/player

Hi Stephen,

Thanks first for your reaction, much appreciated :)

Indeed when I go to the device manager, the PCMCIA card is correctly
installed,
all drivers show that they are working properly. Further the eject icon
is
indeed in the system tray.

I read though on http://www.everythingusb.com/usb2/faq.htm , the
following;

"Do USB 1.1 cables work with USB 2.0 devices? Add Your Notes
Ideally, yes. USB 2.0 architecture uses the same cables and connectors
as
USB 1.1 compliant products. Unforunately, only 3 out of 11 cables on the
market are certified as USB 1.1 compliant. You may run into the cables
that
cause problems connecting high-speed peripherals. To avoid negative user
experience, most vendors include USB 2.0 compliant cables with their USB
2
PCI cards and peripherals."

Maybe I need a USB 2.0 cable and not the standard cable that came with
the
Jukebox ?

Thanks again for your efforts

Dirk
