Mike,

Here's my take.

Before this latest mod, when my FM was plugged in, it simply showed
100%. When it was on the batteries, it showed the battery level. That
was more than fine with me. If it was possible, I would love to see the
charging battery level, but even the "default" FMR firmware doesn't do
that.

So, my take is more or less, keep it simple.
