Re: Simulators won't compile

Here I go, replying to my own email again!

Well Mr Hardeep, sir ..you have been telling me complete porkie-pies mi'
ol' china.
There is no way that you got uisimulator/win32 to compile without either
editing the makefile or using a completely different set of tools to the
rest of us ...there _is_ no GCC.EXE !!

Hence, it would seem, that the error "gcc.exe: not found" does not mean
"gcc.exe could not find it's input file", it means quite literally that
"gcc.exe was not found"!

Of all the things I had just presumed, I had "just presumed" that I would
not be lacking the _compiler_!

So my guess is that whoever it was that I spoke to earlier last night who
said "you can only use Win32 simulator iff you have msvc installed" was
telling the truth. Sadly I do not have msvc, the space to install it, or
the desire to learn it :(

So I'm guessing that the remaining option is the CYGWIN simulator...

PLEASE could somebody who has this working provide me with a list of files
that I need to obtain and where they should be placed once I have them

I am certainly NOT the ONLY person who has got a headache from trying to
use *any* simulator, but I would love to be the person who uploaded the
solution ...hopefully I could earn myself some Kudos points :)
