Rockbox mail archiveSubject: Questions about Rockbox build options and memoryQuestions about Rockbox build options and memory
From: Wayne Sherman <wayne_at_SystemDesignWorks.com>
Date: Tue, 17 Jun 2003 18:37:04 -0700 When building RockBox, does disabling Games and Demos provide more memory for other things (like data buffering)? When the configure script asks: "Enter size of your RAM (in MB): (defaults to 2)" How do I know the size of the RAM? What exactly does this do? Can this setting be used to provide extra data buffering during recording and thus less hard drive activity?
