If we don't need to strip down the permanent copy, then why go through the
trouble? It would be extremely handy if one was away from the computer
for a period with a "broken" daily build of some sort, don't you think?
It wasn't implied that space was a problem.

Well, if you load EVERY daily build now, and it turns out to be a whole
lot harder to flash every daily build, then I would imagine that one would
stick with the existing bootloader. Are there many non-dev user types who
load EVERY daily build? I know I'm not one of them!

I would imagine you could also still ROLO a daily build after your 3
second boot process without incurring too much boredom. :)
