Siren will automatically rename the files with a number on the front; there are probably other renaming utilities that will do the same. It can generate names from a number of variables (including mp3 tag info), but for your case you would just tell it to make a name of the form "%n-%f", which would add a selection number (%n) and a hyphen to the front of the current filename (%f). Just a few clicks and you're done.
