OK, so Best Buy couldn't figure out *WHY* the archos wouldn't boot up.... I was "jogging" with it and it suddenly stopped working :-) hehe. Gotta love that place. I've got a replacement plan that goes until may 2006, so there's many years of rockboxing ahead for me.
