Ive checked the source (rolo.c) and it appears that it cant.

Can i suggest that if the checksum fails, ROLO assumes that its a
non-scrambled image, and just runs it?

The worst that can happen I think is that someone will load a non-firmware
.ajz file, which will just crash the jukebox - no damage done, just reboot
