I still think that the best solution is to load the firmware from hard disk,
but use the boot loader you made (nice work!) as it boots really quickly.

That way, its less hassle to go back if a daily build breaks something

Also, these flash chips have a limited number of writes (or is it a stupid
number like 1000000 writes or something?)

I think that this way is most flexable
