Subject: RE: Resume behavior

RE: Resume behavior

Can we have Rockbox return to WPS after N seconds from the browse or
settings menu while playing and done using the menus?

Mel doesn't seem to be doing anything that requires the browse menu
(Step 8). I try to turn off the browse or settings menu when I'm done
so the direction buttons act as expected when the unit is hidden away.
If I forget and leave it in the browse menu, I'm wondering why I can't
control the volume or I play the song at the cursor instead of the next
song in the playlist.

Thanks,
Tim

In step 8 you went back to WPS. However, after that, did you ever exit
the
WPS (e.g. to the tree browser or settings menu)? There is an open issue
that resume info is not saved if you're not in the WPS.
