My way would be to have it boot into Archos firmware if its starting up
because of a plug-in, at least until we get the charging issues sorted out.

for now, I simulate this by making sure I remember to press F1 when plugging
it in for its overnight charge, and by not having a ajbrec.ajz file on there

Of course, all those other 'auto-play' and 'autorecord' featueres look very
cool too
