Subject: Favorites as a plugin

Favorites as a plugin

Ok this is something I worked on in the past, but I was waiting on 2.x before
submitting it. Since we have a plugin api (great job guys), I decided to make
it a rock.

favorites.c - is the actual rock code.
plugin_faves.diff - is the diff to apply in the apps directory. This updates
the plugin api and puts a menu option to Save a favorite.
Generated against current source on 7/18/2003 6:00PM PST.

When listening to any song you can select Menu->Save Favorite and it will build
a playlist of songs you selected in /favorites.m3u.

The original feature request....
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&group_id=44306&atid=439121&aid=562120

--- reprinted for the click challenged ------
"Favorites playlist
I was mulling over the idea and it seems fairly slick.

A one button keystroke to add a currently playing file
to a 'favorites' playlist.

I know with 15+ gigs of music I have a hard time
picking out the music I like most frequently unless I
am listening to it. I would hope that this would make
it easier to manage."
-------------------------------------------------

My implementation is not "one button", but a top level menu option should
suffice for the majority of users.

I have tested on the player only. It should work on a recorder as well.

if no one objects, then I will submit the code to cvs.
