ok, so I can ship to Europe, no biggie. But, isn't this like totally insane? Is
there really no channel for the accessories in the USA?

Ebay didn't show any for sale s/h. Is there a grey market on rockbox for
remotes for recorders?

Did the various 'I can make one' ideas come to fruition?
