O.K., let's see how THIS one looks in the archive, since it's a reply with
the ">" thingies on each line.

I notice that everything after the "---" (which is defined as the
sigunature part) has horzontal spacing intact, but now verttical white
space is stripped.

Not REALLY the most pressing issue, but (minorly) interesting.
