All my MP3's are 192kbps. I'll second what Björn said, and suggest you consider getting the non-FM recorder 20 and a cheap little AM/FM portable for those situations where you need or want the radio. Personally I *never* listen to music while cycling - I think it would be fatal around here (Baltimore/Washington metro area), and I sweat enough that anything electronic would suffer badly (cell phone goes inside two ziploc bags in the jersey pocket). Most of my rides are <= 100 km, though, and anyone who goes over 100 miles a day must be a masochist, right? =P Maybe it doesn't hurt so much if you're listening to the right cycling soundtrack...
