Date: Wed, 06 Aug 2003 12:24:04 -0400 I loaded your latest bookmarking code, Ben, and the resume bug is still with me. After some experimenting I think I know the source. As you may not be aware, on the FMR the ON key has to be held for several seconds to cause a boot. Not always but most of the time. I've gotten in the habit of holding the key until the boot screen displays. What I think is happening is that ON keystrokes are being buffered and then retrieved by the RESUME code. The ON keystroke, of course, canceling the RESUME. Evidence of this is that the RESUME screen flashes on briefly after boot and before the file menu appears. Just like intentionally saying NO to RESUME. I experimented with holding the ON key the least amount possible to get the recorder to boot. Had no problems at all. This is further evidence of buffered keystrokes. Probably some time in the past the code (inadvertently or otherwise) cleared the keyboard buffer during startup and isn't doing so now. Probably not your code, Ben, but now the problem is fixable.
