You cannot build the simulators under win32 with any of the current official dev kits.
Roland was working on one, but it died due to lack of interest.

I would like to write some code for my player but I couldn't get the Win32 uisimulator to run (i use WinXP and cygwin).  The Rockbox website provides instruction to compile uisimulator for X11, but not for Win32.    
 
When I do a Makefile, it returns:

I am a relatively novice programmer so any help will be much appreciated.  If anyone has run the Win32 uisimulator, please let me know the instruction.
