First I made one primary partition and formatted it with FAT32
using PartitionMagic 7.0. Because it did not work, I repartitioned it
with fdisk of a Win98b floppy bootdisk and then formatted it with
FAT32 on my Win2000 SP3. My next step would have been to compare the
MBR-blocks and partition tables of my two harddisks... :-S

But hey...if the drive does not even spinup once, how is it possible
that any harddisk content can cause the problem??
