IIRC, archos documentation said somewhere that the recorder and the
player were all manufactured at the same time with the same basic
layout. (I believe they just ripped the recorder off and shipped it as
play only technology) Anyhow, Archos claims its there only because they
were too lazy to have two different layouts. Ok. I'm done now. Actually
I believe it is an intelligent move on their part. It is in no way lazy
as it is cost-effective. They don't have to produce two different molds
for two different products where the only thing different is the
circuitry.

In 1968 it took the computing power of 2 C-64's to fly a rocket to the
moon. Now, in 1998 it takes the Power of a Pentium 200 to run Microsoft
Windows 95. Something must have gone wrong.
