[all this happened in a previous episode] The project itself started back in December 2001 when Björn Stenberg announced the "cracked" scrambling algorithm and a LED-flashing program running on his Player. The first actual Rockbox code was written in March 2002, while the first sound ever coming from a Rockbox powered Archos was produced on May 3rd 2002, and during that same month the FAT-code made it possible to access the drive properly! Rockbox 1.0 was relased on June 2, 2002. Only available for the player models. Working mp3 playback was announced on this list on June 19th, the very same day Rockbox 1.1 was released. -- Daniel Stenberg -- http://rockbox.haxx.se/ -- http://daniel.haxx.se/Received on 2003-08-22 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
