That is not correct. You will see us reply RTFM if there's a good piece of
manual describing things.

Cluefull people answer to a lot of questions about Rockbox internals on this
list, stating otherwise is simply not the truth.

Again, you must've been visting some other IRC channels than the #rockbox I've
been on. Check the logs and you'll see heaps of answers.
