Date: Fri, 29 Aug 2003 14:11:10 +1100 I flashed my AJBR20 weeks ago, pretty much immediately after it was announced on the rockbox page. Didn't have any problems doing it (although I was keeping all fingers, toes and whatever crossed during the process) and since then it runs just fine. I also don't have any real charging issues, just with one of the earlier builds the backlight acted a bit strange after plugging in the charger while the AJBR was turned off. Recent builds have corrected this problem, though. Which also shows you that I re-flashed my AJBR by just 'playing' the ucl file, which worked smoothly as well. Also just upgraded my AJBR to 60 gig, didn't encounter any problems as well. Once again, thanks again to all the rockbox contributors, this software adds so much to the value of the AJBR. I tried to read up, and found several problems were reported. No charging, ATA errors, such things. Are those problems solved now? Appx. how many people have flashed their box and how many have had problems? I can easily carry out the serial boot mod in case anything goes wrong (at my job I do much more complicated repairs), but I'd rather not spend the time on that.... for just a faster boot. Questions, questions :-) Thanx. Received on 2003-08-29 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
