Date: Wed, 3 Sep 2003 17:05:24 +0100 IM still getting problems with my battaries - 1800mah NiMH - i only get ~ 1 hours use before they naff out. They were fine before I flashed rockbox (got about 8 hours), but now I have gone back to the old firmware (re-flashed Archos, use Rockbox from ajbrec.ajz), I still get only about 1 hour. I think that my battaries are knackered now (not sure if flashing Rockbox was at fault) - but the great thing about the JBR20 is that I have ordered a new set of battaries for only GB£6 :) I dont think I will try flashing again until we are sure its all OK :) anyone else have anything similar? g ----- Original Message ----- From: "mourad jaber" <mjaber_at_centralpay.net> To: <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2003 9:47 AM Subject: Re: Still having charging issues.. > Hi, > In my case it is much better now for me ( since the last power > management changes last week ) , but not the best :( > I can not get more than between 75-80% battery full after 12 hours... > I complete the charge by unplug->ON-F1-> archos firmware-> re-plug, I > don't know if it's good way to maximise battery life... > I'm using RomBox 20030902cvs on my jbr20 > [Hardware Info] > ROM: 2.00 > Mask: 0x0302 > USB: positive > ATA: 0x200, master > PR: positive > Flash: M=BF D=D6 > ROM CRC: 0x222F V1 > > Thanks all for your great job > > Mourad > > Paul van der Heu wrote: > > >With flashed rockbox and latest CVS I still have charging issues, but only when hooked up with USB and using the HD frequently..
