Does not sound like a good task for a Blind guy!
Sounds like something I would even want to pay someone else to do.

A lot of sodering, cussing, a few beers umm liquid activator
A magnifying glass, some minature wires and a few surface mount
To be honest, If you're asking the question don't bother finishing
the question. SMT blows, really good odds on destroying the controller
board. Not for the faint of heart. People that typically do this will
install an afterburnner in a GBA, voltage mod an ATI 9800 and basically
do eveil things to hardware. ;)
I hope this helps, Please note. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm
trying to be brutially honest. Magnifying glasses, cold soder joints
and a lot of cussing (and beer) is common for this type of mod.
Not for the faint of heart.
