This is correct. On the FM Recorder, Rockbox has nothing to do with the
charging whatsoever. I was a very early adopter of flashing on my FM unit,
and have had no problems with charging whatsoever. If it doesn't charge
under the Archos firmware either, then your unit is faulty.
