I wouldn't touch another FMR with a 10 ft pole. As I mentioned earlier, of
the 3 I've had and of the 5 others I caused to be purchased by my
recommendations, all are now broken in some way or the other. I took my third
one back yesterday and got a store credit from Best Buys.
I went across the street and bought a Recorder 20 from Circuit City along with
a replacement warranty. This is the "old" formfactor with AA batteries and
feels MUCH more substantial. I'd rather have the LiIon batteries but I'll
accept the NiMH's. One advantage of the old formfactor is that the battery
ridges protect the keyboard somewhat from damage.
