Some "flash customers" had problems with my bootloader, neither the Archos software (with F1) nor Rockbox was changing the cell. It looks like the Archos boot code did some initialization which is now absent. They had to revert to original flash content, unless this will be solved. I just carefully checked the PCB revision 2.1 of an FM (hardware mask 0x0304). The "PROG" pin of the LTC1734 charger chip is connected to some circuitry, but no programmable influence for this.
