Rockbox mail archiveSubject: USB + A7V333 = reboot?USB + A7V333 = reboot?
From: Minuk Choi <Choi.Minuk_at_verizon.net>
Date: Mon, 29 Sep 2003 00:06:27 -0400 Um... I'm starting to experience this rather weird error. My motherboard is A7V333, and I've got this extension plugged into the USB 2.0 pins in the motherboard, so I'd have some USB 2.0 ports in the front of the PC. The extension came with a Thermaltake harddrive monitoring unit, it came with a group of pins for me to plug into the matching pins on the USB 2.0 pins on the motherboard, and has 2 USB ports. If I plug it into one of the ports, I get a USB device cannot be recognized. If I plug it into the other port, everything is fine. On top of that... if I just plug it into that port, sometimes, it reboots my PC(once rebooted, I can access the Archos through USB). I haven't tried the ports on the back of the PC(A7V333 has 2 USB 1.1 and 2 USB 2.0 built in to the back, as well as a USB 2.0 pins and a USB 1.1 header pins on the motherboard). Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks -Mark Received on 2003-09-29 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
