LOL, only if that were true. :-|

Actually, one of the reasons why I selected Archos(other than that Rockbox was open source had) was that it had a built-in microphone, and a 20 GB HDD

I found that in my line of work(I'm sure yours as well), a floppy can't suffice... the data I need to transport to and fro are always greater than 1.44MB

Anyway... I mentioned in another thread that my PC reboots when connected... I figure this must be an issue with the USB 2.0 header or something... I still have USB 2.0 ports in the back... but it's quite a reach, plus the cable that came with Archos is too short(at work). Either way, I need a longer cable.

  Yeh come on Mark,
We all know that you are putting songs on your computer at work and listening to music on the job! I'm telling on you!

  Hey gang,

I've started to use my Archos Unit as a portable 20 HDD to keep files from home and work in sync. I've learned that I need another USB cable, since I've forgotten the cable either at home or at work a few times. I was wondering, if anyone had any recommendations on which brand to get? I kinda would prefer a longer cable.. the cable that came with the Archos is a little on the short side.
