Let's find some info!" and after googling a bit, I found the OS... Just too cool :) Anyway, I've got 2 things I'd like help with: 1. I'm not sure but I think my charger is dead. I've had my archos for a week :P I may have dropped it or something. When I plug it into my archos, nothing happens. I tried plugging another charger (with a lower 2V output, but same connector) and my Archos started up, but did not show the "Charging" screen, it just began playing a song. Anyone know where can I buy a new one, from someone who ships internationally? Or can I use any generic Radioshack charger? The manual says it's a special charger and blah blah. I did search the mailing list, and I see discussion of chargers, but I think they're referring to normal battery wall-wart chargers, not the direct-to-archos one(which is what I would like, because of convenience - and I don't like replacing the batteries.). 2. I think I found a bug. Back when my charger was fine, I left my archos plugged into the power, next to my bed to listen to some music when I Went to sleep. I used the Sleep Timer, and set it for one hour. So it was charging, and also playing music, with a sleep timer. When I woke up, the Archos would be: A) PLaying a song, with a "Time Left" of -9,384 or some ridiculous number or B) Just stuck in the middle of a song. But it never went to sleep. I had tested the sleep feature before, with 30 minutes, but it was not connected to the charger. 3. Is a suggestion - Is there anyway to make the archos work as an alarm clock? Make it start up and play music at some set time. Also, I'd like to mention that the "On+Play" key combo for queuing files... I hate. I would like to be able to do it with one hand only. Anyway, I hope you guys can help me out with the charger. In the meantime, I guess I'll use a normal battery charger replace them as needed... :P Received on 2003-10-02 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
