I have some vague rememberance from my physics classes that the unit
of loudness, bel, or more conveniently, decibel, is logarithmic and
hence changing by a percentage is not richt. Instead
adding/subtracting a fixed amount of decibels always gives the same
experienced increase/decrease in volume.

What does Rockbox use as its volume setting/display? Decibels?
Percentage?
