Date: Sat, 11 Oct 2003 02:58:52 +0100 believe me, it's more time than expertise. tmpgenc will demux the audio from mpeg-1 and 2, and nandub will do the same with avis. depending on what you now have, winlame should reencode, if needed. ----- Original Message ----- From: Minuk Choi To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 1:52 AM Subject: Re: MPEG extraction? well... I would... if I had the time and the expertise... but I just wanted to throw it up here... in case someone tried it and failed or something. ----- Original Message ----- From: mrlipring To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Sent: Friday, October 10, 2003 8:11 AM Subject: Re: MPEG extraction? why don't YOU strip out the audio? anyway, the audio in avi files is often mp3, not mpeg-1 or 2 files. i don't think the archos' cpu is fast enough to be able to take out the audio in real time. ----- Original Message ----- From: Minuk Choi To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Sent: Friday, October 10, 2003 12:40 PM Subject: MPEG extraction? Just out of curiosity... the MP3 decoder hardware... would it be possible to say, write a plugin that would go through an MPEG movie file and strip out the video part and send the audio part to the decoder? Kinda like, for music videos.... 'cause some of them have audio encoded by MPEG-3 BTW-did anyone else get like a bunch of mail which are copies from several weeks ago? -Mark Received on 2003-10-11 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
