will rockbox ever be "Modular"? I.E.: rockbox = a set of plugins (MP3Player.rock, DirBrowser.rock, MP3Recorder,rock, PlaylistControll.rock, ect...) all the .ajz would be is just a front to load certain plugins on startup and toggle certain ones on and off. thus not loading things you dont use therefore using less ram.

the way "Plugins" work now is they completly take over the Archos hardware (at least this is the idea im getting from the docs ive seen) this makes little things like the multiple resume things impractacle.

  in a nutshell:

.Rock should change to .JBApp or something to simbolize a full takeover kind of plugin (like games)

  .Rock files should be behind-the-scenes

  Rockbox should become "Modular"

I realize that implementing any of this would be a real pain but i still want to throw it out here for thought purposes (or maybe laughing or something too)
