Where does it stop? Should we ban all freely available email providers?
Hotmail? Yahoo? Excite?
Should be ban all lame ISPs?
Maybe we should ban all euros. Nothing good ever comes out of Europe. Can't
understand them anyway. And South America. Damned Canadians with their beady
eyes and flapping heads don't belong on our mailing list either.
Ban the Russians. All they ever do is send spam. And the Asians. Damned
software pirates, the lot of them.
Yep. The only good internet user is an American with a college accound or their
personal domain that they administer.
Does this sound ridiculous? Did it upset someone? GOOD! Maybe I made my point!
Banning AOL users is the most discriminatory thing I've ever heard. I have no
love for AOL and their dumbing-down of the Internet, but neither do I tolerate
intolerance in any of its guises.
If you're so smart, why don't you set up a mail filter to automatically delete
any mail that ever traversed AOL's link. Then you'd never have seen this unsub
request and never have gotten so bent out of shape over it. (I do, except for
my mailing lists).
