It isn't officially dead, but it is officially not being updated! ;-) Since I am the single editor of the Digest, things froze when I first moved to a new house and then got a daughter about a month ago. Not to mention that I am/was pretty active in other open source projects as well. This is also the reason why I haven't made anything else in the project lately either, I just don't have the time at this point in my life. I don't forsee any major change in this aspect to happen for the rest of this year. I still track the development and read the mailing list, but I'm not up for editing the digest. > I understand that was probably a huge amount of effort involved in keeping > it up, and that time for active developers is a precious thing. If no one else volounteers to step forward and continue from where I left it (or in a new manner or whatever anyone feels like), I think we should officially claim the digest as "dead" and possibly bring it back to life again at a later stage when/if someone is capable of keeping it breathing. -- Daniel Stenberg -- http://rockbox.haxx.se/ -- http://daniel.haxx.se/Received on 2003-10-28 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
