It isn't officially dead, but it is officially not being updated! ;-)

Since I am the single editor of the Digest, things froze when I first moved to
a new house and then got a daughter about a month ago. Not to mention that I
am/was pretty active in other open source projects as well.

This is also the reason why I haven't made anything else in the project lately
either, I just don't have the time at this point in my life. I don't forsee
any major change in this aspect to happen for the rest of this year. I still
track the development and read the mailing list, but I'm not up for editing
the digest.

I agree. If no one else volounteers to step forward and continue from where I
left it (or in a new manner or whatever anyone feels like), I think we should
officially claim the digest as "dead" and possibly bring it back to life again
at a later stage when/if someone is capable of keeping it breathing.
