Subject: Problems and missing features

Problems and missing features

Hello -

I own a 20 gig recorder and I recently discovered and
installed rockbox 2.0. I can't say that at this point
I am a big fan.

The look and new features are great, but new bugs have
been introduced and some features removed.

My problems..

1) You are now not able to delete folders. This was
possible with the original version of software and it
is a very useful function for me as I don't use the
machine with a computer much.

2) The renaming function has really messed up my file
system on my player. I renamed some folders and files
and they became corrupt and I can't delete one of the
folders (with the computer). I ran scan disk and it
cured some of the problems, but I still have some
folders that can not be deleted. They come back with a
cannot find file error.

3) Que all? In the original version of software, it
was possible to select another song to play after the
current song was finished. After the new song
finished, the next song in its folder would then play.
Now, the unit stops after the new song is completed.
Is there a function or setting I am missing?

4) When I call up the screen to delete/rename files,
it immediately jumps to the rename screen. I must pull
my finger off precisely at the moment the screen shows
up. Perhaps another button would have been better to

5) It does not seem to be possble to view the volume
meters and status indicators at the same time on the
WPS screen. I have yet to play around with making my
own screen.. Is it possible to make one that will
allow both?

I am new to this (as I said). If there are things I am
missing, please let me know!

Thanks for your help in advance!
