Date: Wed, 5 Nov 2003 19:45:11 -0800 (PST) i havn't used my FMR for recording much, but i was practicing today, as i'm going to a concert i want to record tomorrow. i was also testing to see how long i could record before the batteries died (have any extensive tests been done on this?). i recorded with 7 quality, stereo, and 48KHz, through the internal mic. the first hour or so isn't anything intersting, so i havn't listen to it yet, but i assume it's of the same quality as the rest. the rest is the matrix revolutions, which i'm listening to now to hear the quality. the first thing i noticed is that there seems to be a lot of hiss. anything you can do to stop that? the second thing i noticed was the HD spinups, but i'm pretty sure there's nothing to do about that. the main questions i have are: at what qualitiy settings will it be audibly worse? and what conditions can i create to make the recordings sound better? thanks for any info -scott __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
