Failure! Re: one week long time recording didn't work out

Hi,

I've just stopped recording for one week with a 6hour time
split setting. It went through for 168 hours, but the result is
a failure:

I ended up with two one files:
R031104-225220.mp3 - Date 5.11.2003, Time 0:00 size 67MB
R031104-235958.mp3 - Date 12.11.2003, Time 0.02 size 2 GB

Here's what I think has happened:

I began recording around 10 to 11pm.
At midnight i pressed PLAY to start a new file.
I suspect this has deactivated the time split!
This can be the only reason why the recording is not
split and fails after 2 GB.
Also it seems that Rockbox doesn't realize the 2GB limit is reached.
The 2GB file plays in Rockbox, but not in Winamp.

Hardware is a 20G JBR, CVS 031104.

Martin

Hope this helps.
