You absolutely want to choose the hard drive for the Archos based solely on
capacity and power consumption. In normal use, you are reading data
serially off of the disk at a low rate of speed. You also should be
concerned with thermal characteristics. You don't want to enclose a
high-speed drive that runs hot in that tiny little enclosure. Go for a
slow, low-power hard drive if you can.
